Federated Farmers has a new national board, elected at its Annual General Meeting in Rotorua last week.
Hawkes Bay beef and sheep farmer Bruce Wills is the 28th President, and Vice President is South Canterbury farmer Dr William Rolleston.
The new national board members are Anders Crofoot, a former New Yorker, from Castlepoint Station in the Wairarapa; Jeanette Maxwell, the first woman to be elected to the Federation’s national board, a sheep and beef farmer from Mt Hutt; Willy Leferink, a dairy farmer from Ashburton; Ian Mackenzie, Federated Farmers Grain & Seeds chairperson, from Eiffleton, near Ashburton; and David Rose, a Southland sheep farmer.
