The candidates standing for election to Fonterra’s board of directors have been confirmed.
Ten candidates will contest three director seats, although two incumbent directors, Jim van der Poel and John Monaghan, have thrown their hats back into the ring.
The candidates are: Grant Cochrane, David Macleod, Trevor Hamilton, Jan Marten Kingma, Lachie Cameron, Ken Hames, Gray Baldwin, Maurice Hardie, Jim van der Poel and John Monaghan.
Fonterra is arranging a series of nationwide roadshow meetings beginning in late October, where shareholders can meet the director hopefuls.

There will also be five ward elections for positions on the Fonterra Shareholders Council.
In eight wards the Shareholder Council incumbents were re-elected unopposed.
Fonterra farmers will receive their voting packs on October 20 and the voting period runs from October 21 until 10.30am on November 15 and results will be announced later that day.
