The Meat Sector Strategy Group is adamant it won’t be going over old ground in its upcoming review of the sheep and beef sectors.

The newly formed body has announced a large scale survey of farmers and key sector figures to be rolled out over the rest of the year.

The industry has been plagued in the past by well-meaning reviews that achieved little, but the group is confident it will finally provide the solutions to save the ailing industry.
