NZ Wines Target Top Notch US Customers

The New Zealand wine industry continues to reel  from the effects of  its record bumper  grape crop in 2008.

Vineyards are still trying to clear their massive stocks – and prices paid to contract grape growers have fallen through the floor.

The government has now handed the industry  $1.2 million dollars to promote New Zealand’s super-premium wines in  the US over the next two years.
