Chilled Meat Threatened By Slow Shipping: Meat Industry

Each year, New Zealand exports 800,000 tonnes of chilled meat to more than 100 countries around the world.

That’s worth $6.4 billion in export revenue.

But now there are fears a new trend in ocean freight shipping to slow down the speed of transit may be harming our lucrative chilled meat export industry.
