A Waikato woman has won Rural Women New Zealand's supreme enterprise award.

Tineke Verkade runs a homeopathic farm business, which supplies more than 200 organic-certified products to farmers. She’s  also written two books on homeopathy for dairy and alpaca farmers, and employs eight part-time people.

The supreme enterprise award was presented at a special ceremony at the Rural Women New Zealand national conference in Oamaru on Thursday.
