Mosgiel-based company TracMap has claimed this year’s NZX Emerging Hi-Tech Company of the Year award.

The company makes a device of the same name, using GPS to accurately pinpoint where to spread fertiliser and spray on farmland.

The gadget is winning fans among  farmers here.  And as overseas heads turn south as well, founder Colin Brown has big plans in mind.
