The Beef Expo has wrapped up  for another year, with mixed results for the seven cattle breeds showcased at the Feilding event.

Auctioneer Bruce Orr of PGG Wrightson says Angus led the way again for prices and sales of breeding stock.

Several Angus bulls made more than $10,000.

Hereford also had a successful sale, with the judges awarding Hereford bull Leelands Digital the title of  champion of champions.

Leelands Digital was bred by Charles and Margaret Lee at the Leelands stud in central Hawke's Bay.
