New Zealand’s lone stance on an Emissions Trading Scheme will be on the agenda next week when Federated Farmers President Don Nicolson heads to the Agriculture and Greenhouse Emissions Conference in Australia .
The Australian Farm Institute will host the event in Adelaide to discuss climate change science and where its farmers sit since the Australian Senate voted to dump the ETS earlier this month.
Mr. Nicolson is one of the guest speakers. And he’s expecting some raised eyebrows when he explains New Zealand’s position.
The two-day conference starts next Tuesday.
