Open Country Dairy has fired a broadside at Fonterra’s capital restructuring proposal for farmers to trade shares among themselves.

The latest copy of the Dairy News came with a different kind of advertorial, spelling out Open Country’s concerns about the Fonterra plan.

It’s an unprecedented move by one dairy company towards another, but Open Country says it had no choice.
