Two months ago Darfield farmer Murray Rowlands was settling into what he thought was a cushy job with Federated Farmers.
The North Canterbury Grain & Seed chairman got a shock on September 4th when he was faced with dozens of farmers whose silos had given way during the earthquake.
From then on, his job changed.
