Federated Farmers will hold a series of meetings next week for Otago and Southland farmers hit by last month’s snow storm.

The three meetings will allow farmers to come together to talk about the storm’s impact, and provide information about stress management, insurance, finance and animal health.

Federated Farmers President Don Nicolson says the meetings will be a welcome chance to relax.

“[There's] going to be a mixture of information, socialising and entertainment."

"There’s going to be some humour there, I can’t say who it’s going to be but there will be some well known figures coming along to gee the crowds up.”
